Sureshield Antimicrobial Coatings
Antimicrobial treatments for coatings
To add antimicrobial protection to metal, glass, some plastics, and wood, either use a liquid or powder coating pre-formulated with Sureshield or add Sureshield to your existing coating prior to application.
Liquid coatings
Available in clear or any color (solid or transparent), Sureshield liquid coatings can be applied via spray, brush, roll, or dip. They can dry via air or bake assist. Sureshield liquid coatings are fully customizable and feature built-in antifingerprint and antimicrobial protection on the coating. Additional features available in Sureshield liquid coatings include anti-glare, dry erase, metallic, and more. Applied to any material after forming and typically prior to assembly, Sureshield liquid coatings can be clear, solid, or transparent in color.
Powder coatings
Applied to metal, glass, and nylon-based plastic using standard powder coating application techniques, Sureshield powder coatings can be clear, solid, or transparent in color. More durable than liquid coatings, Sureshield powder coatings require the use of powder coating equipment to apply a charge to the powder and an opposite charge to the substrate. These coatings must be cured via oven. Sureshield powder coatings are fully customizable and feature built-in antifingerprint and antimicrobial protection on the coating. Additional features available in Sureshield powder coatings include anti-glare, dry erase, metallic, textures, and more.
Coatings additives
Already have a coating approved for your manufacturing process? You can treat it with Sureshield to add built-in antimicrobial protection on the coating. Sureshield additives for coatings can be mixed in prior to application of the coating without changing your application process.
